It’s been a wonderful day for me, we bless God for another
day and how are you?
I just want us to quickly reflect on this, okay let’s start
this way, Perfection is said to be the state of having all the required
elements or qualities i.e. standard of how good something is measured. But to
be realistic we cannot be perfect because we are humans and we are bound to
making mistakes, so therefore it will be difficult to be PERFECT.
The height of perfection is not that achievable because
there is only one perfect person and it’s God.
Deuteronomy 32:4 says He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
how just and upright he is!
But do you know that you can be perfect if God is your
father? But you
are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
The only
perfection you can attain is to let JESUS CHRIST possess you! No wonder Paul
said I
don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have
already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which
Christ Jesus first possessed me. Philippians 3:12
So therefore,
perfection on our own is not attainable but if we can attain perfection is
Christ Jesus, trying to be like Christ then we will surely excel in everything
we do.
Chasing perfection will
give us the opportunity to catch excellence. What are you chasing today?
