What we think we become
That’s just it, simple and precise, you’re thought, and your
belief is what defines you. Which means your attitude is the reflection of your
thinking.
You think well, you become well, think bad you become bad
You think strong, and then you become strong, you think weak
then you are weak
You think positive, you become positive, you think negative
then you become negative. And so on
In order to achieve a positive thinking, then you’re
thinking faculty must be high.
How do we achieve a positive thinking ability?
Ø
First, you read books that will help you in
developing positive thinking not just books but Spiritual, motivational,
Inspirational, success books that we help you.

Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% how you react to it
Hello out there,
Life comprises of two major things what happens to you and
your reaction. You can choose what happens to you but sometimes you can’t
decide, because some happenings are of nature, whether you like it or not it
will surely come to pass. But you can decide you reactions toward these things.
What I’m saying in essence is that sometimes you have 100 % control of your
life and sometimes 90 % of it. How do you utilize this share you have?
Any time I read this quotes, I simply define life as
reaction.
Yea, reaction, which means your action towards something, is
what defines your life and not really that thing that happen to you. As humans
we should expect a lot of things to happen in our life both good and bad but
the Big question is how do we react to it? That is why we must be careful with
our reaction any time any day, your reaction matters a lot even a little one
because that is what defines our lives and not your current situation.
Your reaction is what makes your life and it will come back to you,
good or bad, positive or negative. So my dear friend re think before you react.

Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
It’s been a wonderful day for me, we bless God for another
day and how are you?
I just want us to quickly reflect on this, okay let’s start
this way, Perfection is said to be the state of having all the required
elements or qualities i.e. standard of how good something is measured. But to
be realistic we cannot be perfect because we are humans and we are bound to
making mistakes, so therefore it will be difficult to be PERFECT.

I will be Humble, so that I will not fumble because if I don’t fumble I will not stumble
This is a personal declaration,
nobody is forcing you to do that but the question is did you go by your words;
been humble is not just a thing of the mouth but of actions. For those that has
forgotten, let me quickly reflect on the meaning of humble, which is showing a
modest or low opinion of your own importance,

TEMPERAMENT AND CHARACTER
Hello there, Today TEMPERAMENT
AND CHARACTER is what we going to be taking on.
This piece was inspired by Pastor SAM ADEYEMI.
So, let’s begin with what the bible says in Galatians 5: 22-23, which says But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control: against
there is no law.
You may be thinking how that relates with the topic. Keep
Calm, you get to know very soon.
Now Temperament is inborn trait that is nature with the
effect it has on the way we think, behave.
It can also be said to be a person’s nature in terms of the
effect it has on their behavior. While Character is simply the qualities that
make a person different from other people which is a particular nature of
something, the strength and originality in person’s nature.
Before I move to types of Temperament, should I call this
form or what but anyways, when it comes to Character humans will always have
one of these two things.

I AM NOT YOU AND YOU ARE NOT ME!
I always want to be good and not bad
But sometimes I have to be bad

But how do we execute the right?

NEVER LET IT REST!
Good, better, best, never let it rest till your good is
better and your better is best.
The quote up there may look very simple but it has this
element of hidden message(s), Okay, let’s start from this, before you can
achieve the message the quote is disseminating then you have to follow the
steps, oh you are asking which step? The
quote of course, it’s ladder you have to climb before you can get to the top.
Do you get that?
Now let’s take the step one after the other before I proceed
with the steps let me quickly tell you
that you must focus on these three words GOOD, BETTER, BEST i.e. These words must be your priority, which we
lead us to the steps.

What Integrity Requires of You by Pastor Rick Warren
Integrity demands that every area of
your life is treated with the same intensity. You have the same
commitment to excellence in your marriage as you do in your career. You
have the same commitment to excellence in ministry as you do in your
parenting.
Let me give you six ways you can work to become a person of integrity. You become a person of integrity by …
1. Keeping your promises.
People of integrity keep their word. If they say they’ll do it, they do it. If they say they’ll be there, they show up. The Bible says in Proverbs 25:14, “People who promise things that they never give are like clouds and wind that bring no rain” (TEV).

Keep Calm and Laugh by Joyce Meyer
Its another brand new month just Keep Calm and Laugh, Got this from Joyce Meyer am sure you will want to read!
Take a moment and think about how you’ve been approaching life. Do you find yourself just trying to make it through the day? If you’re honest with yourself, can you even remember the last time you had a good laugh? Well, I want you to know that the joy of the Lord can ease any emotional and physical pain and bring you a new level of satisfaction in life.
Laughter is the outward evidence of inward joy, and it is proven to make you feel better. I once heard someone say that laughter is like internal jogging, and I think that is so true. Laughter improves emotional and mental heath, it lifts our spirits, and it dispels worry. It’s almost impossible to be anxious and laugh at the same time. This is why we would be wise to express joy in laughter every chance we get.

JOKE? OR WHAT?
Yeah it is a Joke because the bible says A merry heart doeth good like a medicine. He that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. (Proverbs 15:15,17:22)
THREE HYMNS
One Sunday a pastor told his congregation that the church needed some extra money and asked the people to prayerfully consider giving a little extra in the offering plate. He said that whoever gave the most would be able to pick out three hymns.

Who Are You Depending On? BY Rick Warren
If you want God’s blessing on your
relationships, career, studies, finances, and health, you have to humbly
depend on God instead of yourself.
So how do you do that? And, how do you know if you’re really trusting God well in your life? Here are five ways to depend on God and a practical test to rate yourself in each area.
Depend on God’s wisdom, not yours. Are you talking to God constantly throughout the day and reading the Bible every day? If you’re not, you are depending on your wisdom and not God’s. You need to give him the first choice in every decision.

Did You think you Know? Worship in the Early Church
Am sure you want to know
Little-known or remarkable facts about worship in the early church John O. Gooch
The first part of an early Christian worship assembly
was open to all, including strangers, who might be converted by the
preaching. The second part of the service involved the Lord’s Supper,
which only the baptized were allowed to partake, so the unbaptized
departed then.
By the early 200s, baptism often included renouncing
Satan and all his works, making a statement of faith, being baptized
(naked) in water, being clothed in a white robe, receiving anointing
with oil, and immediately celebrating the Lord’s Supper.

5 Minutes to Taking Territories: Attitude of Gratitude by
“It is through gratitude for the present moment that the spiritual dimension of life opens up.”
– Eckhart Tolle
It’s no secret that most of us want “more.” More money, more time, more freedom. But this year, in order to take the territories God has promised, you must take time to show gratitude.
So, if you woke up this morning (and you had to because you’re reading this!) being able to breathe, stretch, move and think, you’re blessed. Regardless of your current situation, remember to maintain an attitude of gratitude. Because, you can’t get where you want to go without being thankful for where you are. After all, you probably are where you once prayed for.

Question of the Day: Does God use sickness to teach or discipline us?
Q: Does God use sickness to teach or discipline us?
A: Tradition has taught
that God uses sickness, trials and tribulation to teach us. This idea,
however, is not based on the Word of God. God has never used
sickness to discipline His children and keep them in line. Sickness is
of the devil, and God doesn’t need the devil to straighten us out! He
sent His Word to do that.
Second Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect [or mature], thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
One thing that has led people to believe that God is the One who inflicts sickness on us is the wording of the King James Version of certain scriptures. For example, Deuteronomy 28:61 states, “Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.”

STORY FOR YOU!
A Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say,
But first of all to let you know that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God above,
Where there are no tears or sadness, there is just eternal Love.
Please do not be unhappy, just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you, every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me, and said, " I welcome you".
"It's good to have you back again.

The Power Of The Holy Communion by Pastor Joseph Prince
What Is The Holy Communion?
The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people. Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood.
When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross.
At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).
In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7).

Question of the Day: We hoped and prayed to have children for years, but remain childless. Is it not God's will for us?
Q: We hoped and prayed to have children for years, but remain childless. Is it not God's will for us?
A: It is never wrong
to believe God for something He has already promised. And His promises
concerning children are spelled out clearly in His Word. For example, in
Psalm 127:3, the Scripture says that “children are an heritage of the
Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

How’s Your Spiritual Appetite? By Pastor Rick Warren
How’s Your Spiritual Appetite?
By Rick Warren
Are you hungry for God?
It is possible to maintain a spiritual hunger for God for the rest of your life. Here are five ways to keep a spiritual appetite.
1. Remind yourself how much God loves you.
The more you understand how much God loves you, the more you’re going to love him. The Bible says in Ephesians 3:18-19, “May you have the power to understand … how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God” (NLT, second edition).

I saw you… the realities of our society by Olanrewaju Ogunubi
I saw you… the realities of our society
I saw you when dead to the world at dusk, clad in matching
attires of refuge worn for sedition stolen from those meant to protect from
theft – in Whiteman’s khaki of gray colour, your legs buried in socks whiter
than snow sheltered by a muddy black boot looking much heavier than your
enfeebled legs. Your hands fenced by vicious gloves of deceit with less
attractive façade but capable of reducing to dust an entire village. Taking a
nap on your hand was a rifle born of modern technology, loaded with enough
‘deaths,’ as much as could win a battle. In my dreams, I did saw you; saw your
face as it mails to me an epistle long enough to write a book.

CAESAR MUST BE STOPPED!!! by Olanrewaju Ogunubi
CAESAR MUST BE STOPPED!!!
Before the war began, we had learned to
live together in peace, tranquillity and harmony, helping one another build her
cities. Bewitched by the magnetic glow of their daughters’ seductive facades,
our sons soon became their suitors. Because of them, their alluring lies the
lure in their land, our children deserted us, they wanted a greener pasture and
so we became desolate. Before the war began, we shared a common goal, a common
vision a common dream, our cities together flourished and would have created a
formidable nation had the war been averted. Before the war began, our cities
were the safest to abode; you could walk our street gazing upon the mysteries
of nature’s artwork, even at witching ours. Our people ate bread, not flesh;
they drank wine and never did they thirst for blood afore the war began.
No More Sleepless Nights by Joseph prince
Are you one of those who have trouble sleeping at night? Perhaps just
this morning you said, “I was up the whole night—my boy was running a
high fever,” or “I slept for only two hours—I was awake polishing up my
presentation,” or “I couldn’t sleep at all—I was worried about the bills
that are piling up.”
God “gives His beloved sleep”. Who are His beloved? You and I! Because we are in Christ, we are His beloved. (Ephesians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 2:13)
God says, “It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows…” In other words, it is pointless to worry and lose sleep because the truth is, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

5 Ways to Manage Stress by Joyce Meyer
Burden. Overload. Stress. Do these words describe the way you feel
about life? If that’s the case, I want you to know you’re not alone. And
with God’s help, you can change your outlook and overcome your
situation. No matter what’s going on around you, you can have a life in
Christ filled with peace and joy.
When you woke up this morning, you probably made some decisions. You
decided how many times to hit the snooze button. You decided what outfit
you were going to wear. You decided how many cups of coffee to have.
But there were some other decisions you didn’t get to make (even though I
bet you wish you could have). Let me show you what I mean…
Did you get to choose the weather today?
Did you have any control over the flow of traffic?
How about the mood of your roommate or spouse?

Question of the Day: When I tithe on my income, should I tithe on the net or the gross?
A - Proverbs 3:9 says, “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and the firstfruits of all thine increase.” That means tithes are to be given from the first fruits, from the top, the gross, not the net (Deuteronomy 26).
When you tithe on the income you receive before taxes, you’re acknowledging Jesus as LORD over all your money—even that which goes to the government.

TIME FOR EVERYTHING!
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:6
The things of God have expiry date.
Every God given vision and dream is time tagged.
It is left for man to promptly respond to God’s call.
Scriptures above connotes that a time to seek God may lapse.
God is nearer at certain times than the other.
Jesus wept for Jerusalem for the insensitivity to their time of visitation.
Esau sought God but at a wrong time so he couldn’t obtain mercy.

It is said in Mark 7, "There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him those are the things that defile a man."
Jesus is telling us that there are evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murder, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, and an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness in the heart of a man.
We all have murder in our hearts. There is no one who does not murder. Mothers yell at their children, "No. Don't do that. I told you not to do that, damn you. I told you over and over not to do that. I'm going to kill you if you do that again. I said don't do that." That is murder. You might have killed your children in your mind with your thoughtless words.
Our children must be alive because they run away from us so swiftly; but if we had let out all our anger on them, we may have killed them. Sometimes we scare ourselves. "Oh my God! Why did I do that?" We look at the bruises after hitting our children and think that we must have been crazy to do that. We cannot but act that way because we have murder in our hearts.
So, 'I do what I will not to do' means that we do evil because we are evil. It is so easy for Satan to tempt us to sin.

Don’t Let Stress Get the Best of You by Joyce Meyer
Don’t Let Stress Get the Best of You
by Joyce MeyerGod’s peace. I can honestly say that I will do whatever I have to do to have God’s peace in my life, because it is not God’s will for us to live with stress all the time.
It’s easy for us to feel like we can’t avoid being stressed-out because it’s just the way the world is today. But the truth is just because stress is a disease of our culture doesn’t mean we have to adopt the ways of our culture and live the same way.
We have two options: We can continue to be stressed-out until we fall apart, or we can learn how to receive the peace Christ gives in every circumstance, rather than letting stress get into us.

The Law Is for the Knowledge
of Sin
In Romans 3:20, we read, "By the law is the knowledge of sin." At first, I considered this verse to be merely a personal message to the Apostle Paul and only tried to believe in the words that I preferred. But after my tears dried up, I couldn't continue my religious life of faith.
So, I sinned repeatedly and found out that I had sin in my heart and that it was impossible to live by the Law. I couldn't bear it, but I also couldn't discard the Law because I believed that it was given to be obeyed. In the end, I became a lawyer, like those mentioned in the Scripture. It became so difficult for me to continue a life of faith.
I had so much sin that, while reading the Law, I began to realize those sins whenever I violated each of the Ten Commandments in my heart. Sinning in the heart is also committing sin, and I had unwittingly become a believer in the Law.

God Gave Us the Righteousness
of Faith before the Law
The Apostle Paul said that God gave us the righteousness of faith from the beginning. He gave it to Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Seth and Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and finally to Jacob and his twelve sons. Even without the Law, they became righteous before God through the righteousness that came from the faith in His Word. They were blessed and given rest through the faith in His Word.
Time passed and Jacob's descendants lived in Egypt as slaves for 400 years because of Joseph. Then, God led them out through Moses into the land of Canaan. However, during the 400 years of slavery, they had forgotten the righteousness of faith.
So God let them cross the Red Sea through His miracle and led them into the wilderness. When they reached the wilderness of Sin, He gave them the Law at Mount Sinai. He gave them the Law, which contained the Ten Commandments and the 613 detailed articles. God declared, "I am the Lord your God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob. Let Moses come up to Mount Sinai, and I will give you the law." Then, He gave Israel the Law.
He gave them the Law so that they would 'have knowledge of sin'(Romans 3:20). It was to inform them about what He liked and disliked and to reveal His righteousness and holiness.

What Mercy Means By Rick Warren
What Mercy Means By Rick Warren
Mercy is like a diamond; it is multi-faceted. Here are seven facets of mercy you need to practice, because I guarantee if you’ll learn how to be an agent of mercy, it will transform your relationships.
1. Mercy means being patient with people’s quirks.
How do you get more patience for your kids, spouse, or friends? The Bible says in James 3:17, “The wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy” (NLT, second edition). The wiser you become, the more patient and merciful you become.

< Luke 10:25-30 >
"And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, 'Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?' He said to him, 'What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?' So he answered and said, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.' And He said to him, 'You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.' But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, 'And who is my neighbor?' Then Jesus answered and said: 'A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.'"

3 Steps to a Closer Walk with God
3 Steps to a Closer Walk with God
The word sanctification means a dedication to seeking God and becoming more Christ-like while turning away from sin and a world-centered lifestyle. Sanctification is the process of pursuing God and becoming more like Jesus. Here are 3 steps to help believers maintain the process of sanctification.
1. Put God's Word in Your Heart
Begin the sanctification process by putting God’s Word in your heart. Read it, believe it, study it, memorize it, think on it, and obey it. Start by establishing a time of daily Bible reading. Some Bibles provide a schedule to help you read through God’s Word in a year.Prior to each reading, ask God to give you insight into His Word and thank Him in faith for doing so. Write down scriptures that the Holy Spirit quickens to you.
During the day, memorize and think about what you’ve read. Prayerfully ask God to show you how the scriptures apply to your life. Do what the Word and the Spirit—both are always in agreement—tell you to do.
